Is ChatGPT Available For Free?
Users can still access the chatbot for free but those who pay a monthly subscription for "ChatGPT Plus" will be able to try out the updated version of ChatGPT powered by GPT-4. Some form of a subscription model for ChatGPT has been in the works for a while.

What Are The Uses of ChatGPT?
Chat GPT can be used to generate essays, write answers to questions in examinations, write essays, resumes, news and research articles, letters and perform coding and programming tasks. It can generate ideas for theme parties, and school science projects. It can be used to write or debug code.
ChatGPT, as an AI language model, has many potential uses, including:
Chatbots: ChatGPT can be used to create chatbots that can engage in human-like conversation with users. This can be useful for customer service, technical support, and other applications.
Content Creation: ChatGPT can be used to generate content such as articles, essays, and summaries. This can be useful for businesses that need to produce large volumes of content quickly.

How Much Does Chatgpt4 Cost?
The subscription plan, which offers faster response time and priority access to new features and improvements, was launched in February and costs $20 per month. GPT-4 powers Microsoft's Bing AI chatbot and some features on language learning platform Duolingo's subscription tier.
How To Use Chat GPT
1. Sign up to OpenAI
Create an account
Once you are on the Chat GPT site, you will have the option to “Sign up”. It is very common at this stage to be met with a capacity error from OpenAI. As frustrating as this is, this error happens often.
Your best option at this stage is to either wait or refresh your page. If these two methods do not work, read our article here where we show you how to resolve this.
However, if you don’t have this error, consider yourself lucky. To continue, simply click “Sign up” and choose your preferred login method.
Verify your account
The next step is to verify your account. If you have chosen to sign up via email, OpenAI will send a verification email to your inbox. Follow the link to complete this step.
Up next, OpenAI will ask you for your first and last name, followed by your mobile number to further verify your account.
Fill in these details and follow the next verification steps.
2. Use Chat GPT
Ask Chat GPT a question
Once you have signed in, you will be presented with a screen that looks similar to the image below. To use Chat GPT, all you have to do is simply type anything into the search bar.
The possibilities are literally endless. Note, that the more details and information you give the AI bot, the more specific the response will be.
For example, if you wanted to write lyrics to a song in the style of a particular artist, you can tell Chat GPT that. What if you want the lyrics to rhyme? Chat GPT can do that too, as long as you prompt it beforehand.
What’s great about the tool, is the Chat GPT can respond to previous answers it has given. So, let’s say Chat GPT has managed to produce some song lyrics but you actually wanted them in a punk rock style. You can literally just type “write this again but in the style of punk rock”. And Chat GPT will understand your request.
Chat GPT limitations
Chat GPT is a fantastic tool, but if you want to use it, you need to be aware of some of its limitations. According to OpenAI, Chat GPT can produce “incorrect or nonsensical answers”. If you do use this tool, it would be a good idea to sense-check the model’s response to ensure there isn’t any misinformation there.
The model also has the potential to occasionally produce biased and harmful content, however, we are yet to experience this drawback.
Lastly, ChatGPT has very limited knowledge about events and information after 2021. This is down to the data the model was trained on, although we expect this limitation to be resolved in future versions of the model.
Why is ChatGPT saying my access is denied?
During peak times, you may be unable to access ChatGPT. If you're seeing a message that it's at capacity, you can refresh the page or sign up to receive an email when it's available again.
Also: I tested Google Bard. It was surprisingly bad
Aside from reaching capacity, access to ChatGPT can be denied for various reasons -- mine gets denied while using a VPN, for example. If you're getting a message when trying to use ChatGPT that says your access is denied, it may be one of these issues:
Violation of the API's terms of service.
User trying to access an unavailable version of GPT.
The API key may be invalid.
User has exceeded usage limits.
Violation to the OpenAI API terms of service.
Can I Use ChatGPT On Mobile?
Though there is not a ChatGPT mobile app, you can use the AI-based tool from your mobile browser in your smartphone.

The steps to use OpenAI's ChatGPT from your phone are the same as above; simply go to chat.openai.com, log in, accept the terms, and start typing. The AI assistant will work just as it would from when you access it from your computer.
By default, your conversations in ChatGPT can be viewed by OpenAI and used as training data to improve its system. (This is a key reason why you shouldn't enter any personal or private data into ChatGPT.)
You can also access your account's entire chat history in the side panel of the home page.
What is ChatGPT Plus?
In response to ChatGPT's growing popularity (read: occasional outages due to high traffic), OpenAI introduced a subscription plan, ChatGPT Plus. For $20/month, paying members get the following perks:
General access to ChatGPT, even during peak times
Choice of ChatGPT models
Faster response times
Priority access to new features and improvements
It's worth mentioning that only ChatGPT Plus subscribers can access the latest model, GPT-4 (with a cap of 25 messages every three hours).
Curious about the difference between GPT-3.5 and GPT-4? Here's a breakdown from OpenAI.
Comparison of all available ChatGPT models: Legacy GPT-3.5, Default GPT-3.5, and GPT-4. There is also a rating for each model's reasoning, speed, and conciseness.
If the difference in speed between GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 stands out to you, you're not alone. While OpenAI hasn't outright explained why there's such a stark difference, it's suggested that GPT-4 is slower because it's processing significantly more information to give you a more accurate response. Sounds like a worthwhile tradeoff to me.
While ChatGPT is fun to use in the web browser, that's not the only place you can put ChatGPT to work. With Zapier, you can connect ChatGPT with thousands of other apps, so you can incorporate AI into all of your business-critical workflows.
For example, you can have ChatGPT automatically draft a reply to an email. You can even use ChatGPT to draft a response to a Slack message and post it. Try it for yourself. Click on any of the templates to create your first Zap—what we call our automated workflows.
If you want to really streamline your workflows, you can even use the Zapier ChatGPT plugin to connect your go-to apps (like Gmail and Slack) and interact with them directly from ChatGPT.
